OUR BELIEFS

We believe the Bible to be the only inspired, inerrant, eternal, infallible and authoritative Word of God.

We believe in one God eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each has a distinct personality, responsibility, and function, but they are equally perfect and divine.

We believe the Father is the ultimate source of all things, who calls people to become His sons and daughters through spiritual birth by faith in His Son, Jesus. We believe He forgives the sins of those who trust in Christ, and that He hears and answers prayers.

We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, who is fully God and fully man. We believe in His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His substitutionary death, His bodily resurrection, His bodily ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His future bodily return in power and glory.

We believe in the deity of the Holy Spirit. We believe that His role since Pentecost is to reveal Christ, to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and future judgment, and to be the Restrainer of the evil one. We believe that the Holy Spirit regenerates and indwells all believers, preserving them in Christ for eternity, and empowering them for service and godly living. We believe He produces spiritual fruit, bestows spiritual gifts for service, and teaches us all things pertaining to Christ.

We believe salvation is offered to sinful man through the shed blood and redemptive work of Christ. It is received by grace, through faith, and without human merit or achievement. We believe that repentance and a personal trust in Christ are required for salvation, and that once this gift is received by faith a Christian is eternally secured as a child of God.
