1 Peter 4:10 encourages us that we each have a spiritual gift and that we have a responsibility to use that gift in a way that serves the “one anothers” in our lives.
This is such an important lesson to learn, that spiritual gifts are not for self-consumption. They do not exist for my benefit. It’s not about what is best for me. They exist as a way for us to build one another up and to show the love of Jesus in so many unique and beautiful ways.
