The "N" Commandments (Six-week study)

When Jesus began his earthly ministry the Jewish people knew and tried to follow the Law of Moses as expressed in the Ten Commandments. But Jesus commanded his followers NOT to do certain other things. These NOT commandments were so extreme that even his closest followers were tempted NOT to even try. But then Jesus rose from the dead...and everything changed!

Keep Calm and Carry On
"In This Life You Will Have Trouble..." These are Jesus' own words. And they should come as no surprise. We all face troubles in life. In this six-week study, we'll take a close look at six troubles we face. And we'll examine Jesus' message to us, in summary, to Keep Calm and Carry On. We have His hope, peace and guarantee in response to our troubles, He says,"...But Take Heart! I Have Overcome The World." (John 16:33)
Topics include: Recover from Failure, Resist Temptation, Resolve Conflict, Turn from Lust, Heal from Pain, Overcome Betrayal and Carry On! Everyone is welcome to attend.

How would you like to learn the way things work with prayer? Our Father loves you like He loves Jesus. Is this in your mind and heart as you come to prayer? There are so many aspects of prayer and how to grow in understanding to be able to rightly use the authority God has given to us in life situations.
This 8-week study is packed full of scriptures from the Bible that you can take with you and learn to increase your effectiveness in prayer. We will have a short video and lots of discussion within our class. We invite you to share and grow with us in your prayer life.

It hurts to lose someone you love, find help at GriefShare. Mt. Zionís GriefShare group seeks to assist people as they deal with the pain and grief that follows the death of a loved one or friend. We will seek to accomplish this informed by the Christian faith. Please join us, and consider bringing someone who is also traveling the road of grief and recovery.
